Homegrown Garage and Festival Hosts in Little Detroit
To talk about Los Altragos is to talk about the beating heart of the Sant Antoni Pop Festival. Born in BetxĂ âthe Plana Baixa town known in the scene as 'Little Detroit' for its deep-rooted rock and roll spiritâ, the quartet merges raw 60s garage with British pub-rock bite and Spanish punk immediacy. Led by Pascu Franch (lead vocals, festival mastermind, and a left-handed guitarist who does everything else right-handed) and Pepe «Bronco» (bass and backing vocals, from Vila-real), backed by David on drums and Leon on lead guitar (from La Vall d'UixĂł), the band is renowned for their razor-sharp sound and satirical, true-to-life lyrics.
Circo Perrotti Sessions and Airplay on Radio 3
Their recording journey kicked off in 2014 with the EP Rugidos SĂłnicos, cut at GijĂłn's Circo Perrotti Studios under Jorge Explosion. In 2019 they released the mini-LP El Agujero Glorioso (Sweet Grooves / Devil Records / El Garito de Wray), featuring guest vocals from Juanito Wau on «Todo y mĂĄs». They cemented their sound with the LP Necios y EngreĂdos (2023, Sweet Grooves Records), earning national radio recognition when Diego RJ highlighted the single «Lo mejor de ti» as one of the year's best on Radio 3's El SĂłtano.
